Policies
South Zone Hunting, LLC
Common Policies
A 50% NONREFUNDABLE Deposit (typically by credit card) is required to reserve your hunt. Hunts are not considered “Reserved” until your deposit “clears the bank”. For hunters paying by check, a “courtesy hold” may extend your reservation to allow for usual mailing times. Only in cases where the hunt is rebooked at full-price will a refund be provided.
Remaining balances must be paid no less than 30 days before your hunt begins. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. When hunters arrive at the ranch, our staff is busy greeting customers and setting-up safety meetings. All of the financial arrangements should have already been taken care of long before the customers arrive.
For hunts requiring additional funds (fees to cover trophy fees), these fees must be paid before the hunter leaves the ranch. No hunter will be allowed to take his/her harvested animal or cape without payment in full.
- Any animal wounded by the hunter is considered “mortally wounded” and trophy fees will be assessed.
- Excessive use of alcohol or any use of narcotics will exclude that hunter from participating in the hunt.
- South Zone Hunting, LLC retains the right to refuse service to anyone.
- Guide/Cook gratuities are not required but greatly appreciated.
- Every hunter and/or guests will be required to attend a hunter safety meeting on site. After the meeting, each must sign an acknowledgement of attendance.
- Every hunter must sign Hold Harmless and Ranch Rules Agreements. In most cases, if time allows, the hunter will have copies of the agreements prior to entering the ranch.
- Hunters that fail to arrive on their scheduled date will not receive a refund. Their original deposit will be forfeited; their final payment, if paid, will be applied towards a deposit for a future hunt with us! That hunt must be taken within one year of the date of forfeiture.
THE POLICIES LISTED ABOVE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
